Provence Côte d'Azur
Provence är en region i den soliga, sydöstra hörnan av Frankrike. Det egentliga Provence sträcker sig från parfymbyn Grasse i öst till Rhône-dalen i väst, från de alpina alper i norr till Medelhavet i söder. Även om det geografiskt sett inte är helt korrekt, så räknas den franska Rivieran i dag också till Provence, som då omfattar departementerna: Bouches-du-Rhône, Vaucluse, Var, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence samt Alpes Maritimes. Dessutom har vi valt att tage med departementen Drôme och Ardèche under området Provence-Côte d´Azur, då många av våra semesterboenden här ligger nära den naturliga gränsen för Provence-Côte d´Azur. Languedoc-Roussillon
Semesterboende Languedoc-Roussillon Languedoc-Roussillon er en region i den sydlige del af Frankrig. Området grænser op til den spanske grænse, Andorra og Middelhavet samt de følgende franske regioner: Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, Rhône-Alpes, Auvergne og Midi-Pyrénées. Languedoc-Roussillon strækker sig således fra Camargue (Rhônedeltaet) i øst til den store Naurouze bakkekam i vest, fra Cevennernes bjergtoppe i nord til de imponerende pyrænæer i syd. Regionen omfatter departementerne: Aude, Gard, Hérault, Lozère og Pyrénées-Orientales. Regionshovedstaden er Montpellier. Ligurien
Ferieboliger Ligurien Ligurien eller Liguria er en region i det nordvestlige Italien, grænsende til Frankrig i vest, Piemonte i nord samt Emilia-Romagna og Toscana i øst. Ligurien er Italiens tredje mindste region og omfatter provinserne: Imperia, Savona, Genova og La Specia. Lugurien har et areal på ca. 5.418 km2 og knap 1,6 millioner indbyggere. 80% af Liguriens befolkning er koncentreret i byerne langs den vestlige kyststrækning, Riviera di Ponente, bedre kendt som den italienske riviera. Bédoin
Bédoin is a charming medieval village at the foot of the legendary Mont Ventoux in the department of Vaucluse, 15 km north of Carpentras. Bédoin is a very quiet town, not yet overrun by tourists. You feel far away from the hectic life on the coast. A holiday in Bédoin offers great trips in the scenic surroundings as well as a multitude of outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, climbing, skiing or golfing.

- Climbing: It is possible to climb 3 km out of Bédoin. Take the D19 in the direction of Malaucène. The access road is across from Domaine de la Madelène – continue 1 km to the car park. From here, the cliff is only a few hundred metres away.
- Gliding.
- Cycling: Challenges for everyone – both experienced and families with children. There are several scenic tours to other villages in the area, many easy mountain routes as well as the difficult Mont Ventoux route.
- Golf –There are lots of courses in the area, 4 in the department of Vaucluse and a lot in the neighbouring department Bouches du Rhône. Most of the courses can be found on the French golf union’s website. Unfortunately the website is in French. Sevärdigheter i Bédoin
- Chapelle du Moustier: Has been rebuilt several times over the years, the oldest parts date from the 10th and 11th century.
- Colline Saint Antonin: Here lie the remains of a medieval castle. The site has a wonderful panorama over the surrounding area.
- Chapelle de la Madeleine: A roman chapel from the beginning of the 11th century. Classified as a historic monument. The chapel is 3km out of town on route de Malaucène.
- Remains of the old town wall and portail Catheron.
- Couvent des Dominicains et Chapelle Notre Dame de Nazareth from the 17th century. For many years the town’s hospital. Nowadays, it is home to a small religious fraternity.
- Eglise paroissiale Saint Pierre: Built between 1708 and 1736, burnt down during la Terreur in the 18th century and rebuilt at the beginning of the 19th century. The church is built in Mannerist style, inspired by the 16th century church Gesù in Rome. The church is a classified cultural heritage monument.
Bédoin can boast of having one of the largest and most interesting forests (6300 hectares) in France.
It is without any doubt the forest in Vaucluse with the most diversified vegetation. - There are more than 1200 different species of plants. Guided walking tours are arranged for those interested in the area’s fauna and flora. The most remarkable trip is to see the sunrise over the top of Mont Ventoux. At the tourist office you can collect a brochure with information on this particular trip as well as other half-day trips.
Bédoin is dominated by the imposing church, Saint Pierre, which has a very different style from what you see in general in the region.
The church of Saint Pierre is built in Mannerist style between1708 and 1736 and was restored at the beginning of the 19th century. The church is classified as a cultural heritage monument.
Bédoin lies in the Côtes du Ventoux wine district and the town is well known for its fine wine, fruit and asparagus.
