Provence Côte d'Azur
Provence är en region i den soliga, sydöstra hörnan av Frankrike. Det egentliga Provence sträcker sig från parfymbyn Grasse i öst till Rhône-dalen i väst, från de alpina alper i norr till Medelhavet i söder. Även om det geografiskt sett inte är helt korrekt, så räknas den franska Rivieran i dag också till Provence, som då omfattar departementerna: Bouches-du-Rhône, Vaucluse, Var, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence och Alpes-Maritimes. Dessutom har vi valt att tage med departementen Drôme och Ardèche under området Provence-Côte d´Azur, då många av våra semesterboenden här ligger nära den naturliga gränsen för Provence-Côte d´Azur. Languedoc-Roussillon
Semesterboende Languedoc-Roussillon Languedoc-Roussillon er en region i den sydlige del af Frankrig. Området grænser op til den spanske grænse, Andorra og Middelhavet samt de følgende franske regioner: Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, Rhône-Alpes, Auvergne og Midi-Pyrénées. Languedoc-Roussillon strækker sig således fra Camargue (Rhônedeltaet) i øst til den store Naurouze bakkekam i vest, fra Cevennernes bjergtoppe i nord til de imponerende pyrænæer i syd. Regionen omfatter departementerne: Aude, Gard, Hérault, Lozère og Pyrénées-Orientales. Regionshovedstaden er Montpellier. Ligurien
Ferieboliger Ligurien Ligurien eller Liguria er en region i det nordvestlige Italien, grænsende til Frankrig i vest, Piemonte i nord samt Emilia-Romagna og Toscana i øst. Ligurien er Italiens tredje mindste region og omfatter provinserne: Imperia, Savona, Genova og La Specia. Lugurien har et areal på ca. 5.418 km2 og knap 1,6 millioner indbyggere. 80% af Liguriens befolkning er koncentreret i byerne langs den vestlige kyststrækning, Riviera di Ponente, bedre kendt som den italienske riviera. Marche
Marche är en av Italiens mindre kända regioner som ännu inte har riktigt har uppvikt som turistmål bland skandinaver. Men även om regionen kommer alltid att stå i skuggan av Toscana och Umbrien, så att du kan njuta av en varierad kustlinje vid Adriatiska havet med vita sandstränder och höga klippor, storslagna landskap och många historiska attraktioner. The medieval village Eze is beautifully perched as an eagles nest on a cliff, at the height of 427 metres between Monaco and Nice. A holiday in one of Provacances’ holiday apartments in Eze offers good possibilities for exploring the old, historic quarter or for exciting trips in the surrounding countryside. The area offers a wide range of outdoor activities such as swimming and water sports, cycling, horseback riding, walking and hiking, golfing and skiing.

Sevärdigheter i Eze
- Sentier de Nietzsche: A small path (at the end of the Avenue du Jardin Exotique), leading down to the coast.
- La Poterne: One of the main gates through the old town wall.
- Le Château de la Chèvre d’Or: The building once belonged to the great violinist, Zalto Bolokovic, today it is home of the restaurant, Chèvre d’Or, with its famous guests like Walt Disney and Prince Rainier.
- Maison Riquieres from the 12th century.
- Chapelle des Pénitents Blancs: At Place du Planet you will find this chapel from the 14th century. It was built by white penitential brothers (carrying white cowls in contrast to their brothers who carry red or black). In the chapel you can see a Catalan crucifix with a smiling Christ.
- Place Francis Blanche: One of the most charming squares in the village.
- Le Château Eza: The property is now a luxury hotel, but earlier it belonged to the Swedish Prince Wilhelm, son of Gustav V (Queen Ingrid’s grand father). Prince Wilhelm bought the property in 1923, and he named it Château Eza. The Swedish royal family appreciated this place very much and visited it several times until 1953, when the Prince sold it.

Eze is without any doubt one of the most picturesque spots on the Côte d’Azur, and for this reason you must be prepared not to be the only one climbing up to this fabulous mountain village.
Crowds are the price to pay for this experience, if you are not in the fortunate position of being able to come out of season.
At the summit of the village you will find the remains of the old castle from the 12th century (torn down in 1706).
It is surrounded by a little botanic garden, Jardin Exotique, which has splendid panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the Riviera.
The very old mountain village is extraordinary charming with its narrow winding stairways, covered passages, shady squares, ancient fountains and medieval stone houses, all different from each other.
All the houses have had extensive, high quality restorations. Unfortunately only very few houses are lived in today. Most of them have been transformed into arts and crafts shops, galleries and restaurants such as the very famous Chèvre d’Or (The golden Goat). The village itself appears like a theatre coulisse – it is just so beautiful.
From the village a small path, Sentier de Nietzsche, leads down to the coast and it appears that Nietzche loved to take this path when he stayed in the village to work on his Also sprach Zarathustra, in which he exposes his visions on the “la condition humaine”.
Eze-sur-Mer is a little beach resort with fine sandy beaches, availability of all sorts of water sports, cafés, restaurants and hotels.Vi har 5 semesterhuse i eller nära Eze
