Provence Côte d'Azur
Provence är en region i den soliga, sydöstra hörnan av Frankrike. Det egentliga Provence sträcker sig från parfymbyn Grasse i öst till Rhône-dalen i väst, från de alpina alper i norr till Medelhavet i söder. Även om det geografiskt sett inte är helt korrekt, så räknas den franska Rivieran i dag också till Provence, som då omfattar departementerna: Bouches-du-Rhône, Vaucluse, Var, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence samt Alpes Maritimes. Dessutom har vi valt att tage med departementen Drôme och Ardèche under området Provence-Côte d´Azur, då många av våra semesterboenden här ligger nära den naturliga gränsen för Provence-Côte d´Azur. Languedoc-Roussillon

The Residenza Le Valli, an authentic Fattoria, is about 250 years old. The house, which is a listed building, has been renovated sympathetically and furnished with great care and comfort. The whole area of the Residenza is very well maintained. There is 50.000 m2 of parkland, meadows, woodland and gardens. There is an outdoor swimming pool with panoramic views, a barbecue area and a fitness trail. The atmosphere is wonderfully relaxing.
Le Valli lies in the cultural triangle of Siena, Florence and Pisa near the ancient Etruscan town of Volterra and San Gimignano, famous for its Medieval Towers. Le Valli is also an ideal base for visiting less well known cultural areas such as Populonia, Massa Marittima and San Galgano. Le Valli is an exceptional oasis of peace and tranquility – a place you will love to visit. Nature walks and bird watching are available in a nearby nature reserve. The sea is only 40 km away. Bicycles can be hired in Pomarance to explore the surrounding area. Group activities such as Art and Language courses or wine tasting seminars are invited by interested parties, (especially in off season).
From 2011 there will be a restaraunt at Le Valli, that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, all freshly prepared by the Chef David and his team. How does breakfast on the terrace, lunch by the pool or a 7 course Italian feast dinner sound?
There are 11 apartments to choose from (our ref. i5.3025 – i5.3035). They accommodate between two and eight persons. The larger ones have two shower rooms. Most have a private garden or terrace and all have their own entrance. Two apartments are suitable for wheelchairs (ref. i5.3026 + i5.3029). Most have a safe and TV with satellite connection. There are also six double bedrooms for “bed and breakfast” type accommodation. Animals are welcome in some of the apartments.
