Holiday home Korcula

Racisce is a little pretty village 11km to the west of Korcula with just 446 inhabitants. This property only 5 metres from the sea with a private jetty where you can sunbathe or go for a swim. It has a splendid sea view over the bay of Racisce to the Peljesac peninsula. The shops, bars, restaurants of the village are easy walking distance; try "Vala" or "Konoba Peko" which specialise in Dalmatian food. For a wide range of shops, restaurants and entertainment the beautiful town of Korcula is only 15 minutes drive.
The super beaches of Vaja and Samograd are to the west of Racisce, a 10-20 minute drive along the coast. The bay of Samograd is famous for an attractive cave which was a significant prehistoric dwelling.

DETAILS OF ACCOMMODATION

The house has three levels, with an apartment on each floor with independent entry; the charming owner lives on the first floor and will give you lots of advice about the area and will also take you out on his large boat for trips around the island (payable locally). He will also arrange for your clothes to be laundered.
Apartment A (sleeps 4).You enter this 100m2 apartment on the second floor into a hall which leads you to a bathroom/WC and two bedrooms, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. Off the other side of the hall is the living/dining room with sofa, armchair, coffee table, satellite TV and air-conditioning; adjacent to this is the kitchen equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge and dining table and chairs to seat 4. From the living room you have access to the 5m x 3m terrace with sea view and outdoor dining table and chairs.
Apartment B (sleeps 4). This is on the ground floor and has the same facilities as apartment A, except that the interior is smaller (75m2) but the outdoor terrace is much bigger. This apartment has a shower room/WC (instead of bathroom/WC).

Getting there: Sunday arrival at Dubrovnik. Transit by road/ferry 2 hours 30 minutes.
