Holiday home near Cortona
The holiday farmhouse ”La Tabaccaia” is situateded just outside a small hamlet at the foothills of Cortona, an ancient Etruscan town. La Tabaccia is situated in the border land of Toscany and Umbria. This landscape offers some of Italy´s most enchanting valleys and historic towns and villages.
The farmhouse consists of 2 old stone annexes that has been renovated in typical local rustic style. Both apartments open out to a courtyard adjacent to the owners house. The about 7 hectares of land that belongs to the estate, is cultivated with olive trees, vines, fruit trees and also includes a vegetable garden. The estate is completely fenced. The inner court-yard has, besides a large parking, a wood-burning oven and a barbeque. The pool is open from May to September and measures 14 x 7 m.
The farmhouse consists of 2 separate apartments.
Apartment “Tabacco 1” : has a view over the hills of Cortona and the Val di Chiana country side and contains:1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom and a bedroom with 1 Three-quarter bed (150 cm). All the bedrooms have French windows that opens to the garden. 2 bathrooms with shower, large living room with fireplace and kitchen.
Apartment “Tabacco 2” has a view over the hills of Cortona and contains: living room with fireplace, open kitchen and exit to the terrace. 1 single bedroom, 1 double bedroom with exit to the garden, bathroom with shower and washing machine, staircase to the 1st floor that contains: a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
