Nice townhouse in the small village of Roquefort-des-Corbières in the department of Aude in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, 30 km south of Narbonne. Roquefort-des-Corbières is a charming wine-growing village with narrow, winding streets and passages.

The village offers a restaurant serving tasty local dishes, and at the town square there is a small café and twice a week a market with fresh vegetables, bread etc. There is a small playground for children, close to the square at the west end of the village. In Roquefort-des-Corbières you will also find a baker, a butcher and a small grocery store. Major purchases are made easier in the nearby town Sigean with several well-stocked supermarkets and markets with fresh vegetables, meat and fish.

The townhouse, originally from the 17th century, was totally renovated in 2009. It is approx. 55 m2 divided on two floors and tastefully furnished. First floor consists of a large room with open kitchen, dining area and a sofa arrangement. The ground floor offers a large double bedroom, and 1 shower room with toilet. The house also offers a lounge bed for 1 person. There is a small sunny and south facing terrace, situated in front of the house, face to a narrow street, totally free from motor traffic.
